Flowbit — Privacy Policy

Flowbit is a browser extension that helps users collect candidate profile information from a supported source profile, organize that information, and fill supported profile forms.

Information processed by the extension

• Candidate profile information that the user chooses to collect, such as personal details, address, education, experience, skills, profile image and CV information.
• User-created mappings and extension settings used to improve future form filling.
• Subscription information needed to activate and validate a paid license.

Where candidate information is stored

Candidate information and learned mappings are processed and stored locally in the user's browser by the extension. Candidate profile information is not sent to the subscription validation service.

Subscription validation

When a user activates or validates a subscription, the extension sends the license key, a generated device identifier and the extension identifier to the developer's license service. This information is used to activate the subscription, validate its status, enforce device limits and prevent unauthorized use.

Downloads and media

When the user chooses to add a profile image or CV, the extension may download the selected media through the browser so it can be used in the supported form workflow.

Data sharing

The developer does not sell candidate information collected by the extension. The extension does not use candidate information for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect subscription information handled by the license service. Users should use the extension only on accounts and pages they are authorized to access.
